Phia Accused of 'Cookie Stuffing' to Improperly Claim Affiliate Commissions

Phia, a shopping startup founded by Phoebe Gates and Sophia Kianni, has been accused of manipulating affiliate referral codes to take credit for purchases it did not generate.

• A Bloomberg investigation found Phia's browser extension injected its own referral codes during checkout, overriding those from other affiliates.
• Phia has been suspended from Impact.com, a leading affiliate marketing platform, following the report.
• A Phia spokesperson stated that all necessary changes had been made to resolve the issue, which Bloomberg later confirmed.
• Phia has raised over $40 million in funding and counts Khloé Kardashian and Hailey Bieber among its investors.
