The Saudi-led coalition accused Yemen's Houthis of a drone attack on a Medina power station, a claim the Houthis denied and Egypt condemned.
- The coalition said a Houthi drone struck the Taybah power distribution station in Medina on Tuesday, knocking one transformer out of service without disrupting the network.
- A Houthi military source, quoted by the Houthi-run Saba news agency, denied the accusation, calling it a "lie."
- Egypt condemned the attack, saying it constitutes a serious violation that attempts to undermine Saudi Arabia's security and stability.
- The coalition said it intercepted and destroyed four Houthi drones over Khamis Mushait and two ballistic missiles over Khamis Mushait and Jazan on Thursday.
- Saudi civil defense reported material damage to residential buildings and vehicles after fragments from an intercepted Houthi ballistic missile fell in Khamis Mushait.
- Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Maliki called the Taibah attack a 'terrorist operation' planned and executed by the Houthi militia, based on investigation and debris analysis.
