Four-year-old girl dies after falling from Barking tower block

A four-year-old girl has died in hospital after falling from height at a tower block in St Paul's Road, Barking, on Saturday.

• Metropolitan police officers were called to the scene at about 11:00 BST on Saturday following reports of a child falling from height.
• London Ambulance Service paramedics gave first aid at the scene and took the girl to a major trauma centre, where she died from her injuries.
• The Metropolitan Police said the incident is not believed to be suspicious and that an investigation into the circumstances is ongoing.
