Sam Fender and Olivia Dean set UK chart record with Rein Me In

The duet spent 16 weeks at number one, becoming the longest-running chart-topper by a British act in UK history.

• The song surpassed Wet Wet Wet's 1994 record and equalled Bryan Adams' 1991 run with 16 weeks at number one.
• Fender said watching the song break records has "been ridiculous" and an "excuse to party."
• The duo debuted the collaboration in June during Fender's London Stadium show, with a video of the performance going viral.
• The pair also set records for longest consecutive top 40 run and most weeks in the top 10 for a non-Christmas single.
