Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, known as Tommy Robinson, has gone on trial at Southwark Crown Court charged with harassing two MailOnline reporters and causing them to fear violence.
- Robinson denies two counts of harassment causing fear of violence against reporters Andrew Young and Jacob Dirnhuber.
- Prosecutor Ben Holt told the jury Robinson used "bully-boy, intimidatory tactics," circulating images of the journalists' homes to his millions of X followers.
- The prosecution alleges messages included "I'll be knocking at your door" and a phone call telling Young "I'm coming to get you."
- Robinson's case is that he acted to protect his family after the Daily Mail published photos of him on holiday in Cyprus following the 2024 Southport attacks.
