Prosecutors at Woolwich Crown Court have accused three alleged Iranian spies of surveilling UK-based journalists as part of a plan to inflict 'serious violence'.
- Mostafa Sepahvand, 41, is accused of carrying out the attack, with Farhad Manesh and Shapoor Noori performing surveillance and reconnaissance.
- The targets included Iran International journalists Mojtaba Pourmohsen and Kambiz Hosseini and Jonathan Turner, a founder of UK Lawyers for Israel.
- Prosecutor Bill Emlyn Jones KC said at least one target was to face 'serious violence' as retribution and to deter critics.
- In a voice note read to the jury, Sepahvand said he would 'finish off' a target in exchange for £150,000.
