Ukrainian drone attacks have seriously damaged two Yandex data centres in western Russia, as Kyiv widens its campaign against Moscow's technology infrastructure.
- Yandex said its Sasovo data centre in the Ryazan region was "seriously damaged" by a drone attack overnight Thursday, with operations "completely suspended."
- Its Kaluga data centre was also struck Friday morning, Yandex said, with part of the site's infrastructure "taken out of service."
- Yandex said teams were working "day and night" to keep services running and that it could not predict when the centres would return online.
- President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attacks were a "mirror-like" response to Russian strikes on Ukrainian data centres.
