First Video Footage Captured of Shackleton’s Final Ship Quest

Scientists have recorded the first video footage of the wreck of Quest, the ship on which explorer Ernest Shackleton died in 1922.

• The expedition was a joint effort by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
• The shipwreck was found in the Labrador Sea off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada.
• Shackleton died aboard Quest in 1922 during his final Antarctic voyage.
