Egypt's regional water training center secures ISO 9001:2015 accreditation

Egypt's Regional Training Center for Water Resources and Irrigation passed the external audit of its quality management system under ISO 9001:2015, completing certification procedures.
- Minister Hani Sweilm received a report from center head Salwa Abu El-Ela confirming the center passed the external audit and completed certificate issuance procedures.
- Sweilm said the accreditation advances the ministry's efforts to establish a culture of quality and institutional excellence in water-sector training.
- Sweilm stated developing training and building worker capacity is a central pillar of the second-generation water system "2.0".
- Sweilm directed the center to keep updating training programs and adopt digital transformation and AI in water resource management.
