Egypt's Ministry of Higher Education ordered the closure of four unlicensed educational entities in Giza that marketed unauthorized certificates on social media.
- The ministry shut the Al-Ahram International Training Academy, ECC Vocational Training Center, Ultra Care for Vocational Training, and Apex College in Giza for operating without licenses.
- Minister Abdel Aziz Qanswa ordered legal procedures and contact with the education and supply ministers and the Giza governor to prevent the entities from reopening.
- Spokesman Adel Abdel Ghaffar said the ministry published a blacklist of the fake entities and a list of accredited institutions on its website.
- Abdel Ghaffar said judicial committee membership was expanded to intensify inspection campaigns against unlicensed facilities.
