Gabriel Jesus, Barcelona's surprise deadline signing, delivers four goals in seven matches

Barcelona's €10 million deadline-day signing from Arsenal has scored four goals and provided one assist in seven appearances.

• Barcelona signed Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal on September 1 for €10 million after negotiations for Julián Álvarez collapsed.
• Jesus has contributed to five goals — four scored and one assist — in 234 minutes of play across all competitions.
• Sport reported that Jesus's four league goals outpace every Real Madrid player's tally except Kylian Mbappé's seven.
• Hansi Flick called Jesus a "top-class player" with much greater potential, while sporting director Deco described the signing as "an opportunity."
