- Simon Andriesz discovered a 2018 email chain in released Epstein files showing Lutnick and Epstein discussing a start-up they both invested in.
- Andriesz shared the findings with the House Oversight Committee ahead of Lutnick's testimony in May.

- All 21 Democrats on the committee signed a letter demanding Lutnick's resignation, accusing him of lying about his ties to Epstein.
