Egypt FA denies asking Shouky Gharib to evaluate Hossam Hassan's staff

Egypt's football federation has denied asking technical director Shouky Gharib to evaluate the national team staff, while Hani Abu Rida summoned the coaching duo for talks.

• An EFA source denied reports of a Monday meeting between Gharib and the Hassan brothers, saying Gharib was not asked to evaluate the staff.
• Abu Rida decided to summon Hossam Hassan and his brother Ibrahim, the team manager, for a meeting after crises in the recent camp.
• Abu Rida instructed executive director Mustafa Azzam to collect statements Hossam Hassan made against Mohamed Salah and Mohamed El-Shennawy that caused camp tension.
• The meeting will be attended by Abu Rida, his deputy Khaled El-Derendaly and Sports Minister Gohar Nabil, who asked the president to calm the atmosphere.
