Giza governor dismisses Oseem deputy, orders crackdown after field tour

Giza Governor Ahmed Al-Ansari has dismissed an Oseem official and referred local leaders for investigation over cleanliness failures during an expanded field tour.

• Al-Ansari toured the Oseem and Manashi Al-Qanater centers and the Al-Waraq district to inspect services, cleanliness, roads and construction work.
• He excluded the Oseem deputy head for the cleanliness sector and referred other Oseem leaders for investigation over observed shortcomings.
• He ordered the removal of an illegal cafe on the public road and the closure of random waste-sorting warehouses in Saida and Saad Zaghloul.
• He spotted unauthorised construction in several areas and ordered a review of building permits and legal procedures.
