Former England winger Andros Townsend was run over by a pitch roller during warm-up before a Thai League 1 match, escaping unhurt.
- A groundstaff member lost control of a heavy pitch roller at Pattani on Saturday, knocking Townsend over and running over his legs before the driver lifted the machine off him.
- The 35-year-old, who plays for PT Prachuap, escaped unhurt and came off the bench late in his side's 3-0 win.
- Townsend wrote on Instagram: "It turns out Stoke away wasn't so bad after all," referencing his earlier comparison of Thai away trips with visits to Stoke's Bet365 Stadium.
