Worker falls from 11th floor in Shubra El-Kheima; ambulance delayed by street obstructions

A worker fell while installing an elevator in Shubra El-Kheima, and an ambulance was delayed by street obstructions, residents said.

• A worker fell from the 11th floor while installing an elevator in a building in Shubra El-Kheima, Qalyubia Governorate.
• An ambulance was delayed for more than 10 minutes at the street entrance due to obstructions from a fruit vendor and a supermarket.
• Residents called on the East Shubra El-Kheima district authorities to remove all street obstructions to allow emergency vehicle access.
• Residents confirmed the worker survived and was taken to a hospital for medical care.
