Tommy Robinson admits falsely accusing Glasgow man of filming children

Far-right activist Tommy Robinson has acknowledged he was wrong after accusing a UK-born father of filming children in a Glasgow park.

• Robinson admitted he "got it wrong" when he falsely accused Quoroum Beg on social media of filming children in a Glasgow park.
• Beg was filming an anti-immigration demonstration that had earlier forced him and his children, along with other families, to leave the park.
• Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, issued a correction on X saying: "In this instance I got it wrong, as did many others."
• Beg said Robinson's correction falls short of an apology and that he fears for his safety, having received an emergency police number.
