- Security forces used tear gas and water cannons to disperse protesters outside Congress, and at least 25 people were detained and several police officers injured.
- The march was the fifth federal university demonstration pushing for a 2025 financing law, passed over a veto, that the government has refused to apply.
- A federal judge has begun fining the government 100,000 pesos (about $70) a day for failing to implement parts of the financing law.
