Lendeborg debuts by jawing with Dončić, says he lost respect

Lakers beat the Warriors 127-105 in the NBA opener, where rookie Yaxel Lendeborg traded barbs with Luka Dončić in his debut.

• Lendeborg, who started for the injured Jimmy Butler, said he "lost all respect" for Dončić's foul-baiting, having mostly watched NBA highlights before turning pro.
• The Warriors rookie received a technical for jawing at Dončić, saying he told the six-time All-Star "he sucks" and "can't score on me."
• Dončić, who scored 28 points in the victory, said he wasn't trying to talk back this season to avoid technicals.
• Warriors veteran Draymond Green backed Lendeborg's attitude, saying the rookie should "go at his ass again" when they next meet.
