Egyptian education bodies announce application deadlines for nursing and dentistry programs

The Ministry of Health and Cairo University’s Faculty of Dentistry have set application windows for government nursing secondary schools and a postgraduate prosthodontics program starting in July 2026.

• The Ministry of Health announced that applications for government nursing secondary schools for the 2026/2027 academic year will open on July 20, 2026, through paper submission at local health directorates.
• The ministry stated that female applicants must remain unmarried during the study period and that all applicants must hold a basic education certificate.
• The Faculty of Dentistry at Cairo University has opened applications from July 15 to August 15, 2026, for a supplementary year in prosthodontics for master’s degree holders under ministerial decree No. 1332 of 2025.
• Nursing school candidates must pass written aptitude tests in Arabic, English, and computer skills with at least 70% in each, as well as medical and physical examinations.
