Ohio State's 19–15 win in Bloomington snapped Indiana's 22-game winning streak after a would-be go-ahead touchdown was ruled out of bounds.
- Nick Marsh's left foot came down on the sideline paint on the final fourth-down play, nullifying an apparent go-ahead touchdown with Indiana trailing 19–15.
- Hoosiers quarterback Josh Hoover finished 20-of-40 for 296 yards with a touchdown and his first lost fumble of the season.
- Ohio State coach Ryan Day said quarterback Julian Sayin will be out "several weeks" after injuring his right arm in the fourth quarter.
- Indiana coach Curt Cignetti said "the sun will come up tomorrow," calling the loss a matter of execution rather than a lesson.
- Day said Sayin's injury is to his throwing shoulder; true freshman Luke Fahey will start, beginning with an Oct. 31 trip to No. 19 USC.
