Heartstopper to conclude with feature-length finale

The queer teen drama Heartstopper is ending with a film titled Heartstopper Forever, featuring the characters navigating adulthood.

• Kit Connor and Joe Locke served as executive producers on the final chapter.
• Connor said the film includes sexual scenes and takes a step away from being “rose-tinted” about human behaviour.
• Locke said the film would have felt “weird” not to show sex given the characters’ ages.
• Locke disputed reports that the film format was due to declining viewership, stating season three had the same impact.
