The 2026 Ballon d'Or Féminin will be awarded Monday in Paris, where Spain's Alexia Putellas is favored to win a third time.
- Putellas captained Barcelona to a quadruple in May, including a third Champions League title in four years.
- Spanish players have won each of the last five Ballon d'Or and FIFA Best awards, Putellas twice and Bonmatí three times.
- Bonmatí, winner of the last three awards, is not nominated after a leg injury in November 2025.
- Rose Lavelle is the only US international on the 30-player shortlist for the award.
