Egyptian Meteorological Authority forecaster Manar Ghanem forecast rain across northern coastal provinces and advised the public to transition to autumn clothing.
- Manar Ghanem said rain of varying intensity will fall on Alexandria, Beheira, and Kafr El Sheikh through Saturday and Sunday.
- Ghanem attributed the rain to an upper-atmosphere low-pressure system whose impact is weakening after two days.
- The forecaster said Cairo maximum temperatures will reach 27–28°C, with overnight lows dropping to 17°C in new cities.
- Ghanem advised citizens to gradually replace summer clothing with autumn apparel and carry light jackets at night.
- The forecast rain materialized as a third consecutive day of severe weather, partially collapsing eight Alexandria buildings with no injuries reported.
- An electrical room explosion halted tram service, and two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on the desert road.
