Traffic police intensify patrols on Cairo and Giza axes

Cairo and Giza traffic police intensified patrols Thursday to detect violations and clear blocked roads, while major axes saw smooth vehicle flow.

• Cairo and Giza traffic directorates deployed intensive campaigns on main axes to monitor all violations and tow abandoned cars blocking streets.
• Patrols concentrated on highways to prevent drug-impaired driving and reduce wrong-way and illegal-parking accidents.
• The Interior Ministry's security agencies have continued intensifying traffic services to respond to breakdowns and accidents affecting movement.
