Egypt's cabinet approves Qatari Al-Diyar investment zone in Matrouh

Egypt's Council of Ministers has approved establishing an investment zone for Qatari developer Al-Diyar, spanning about 4,900 feddans on the Alexandria–Matrouh coastal road.

• Egypt's Council of Ministers approved the prime minister's draft decision creating the investment zone for Al-Diyar Qatariya for Urban Development — Alam El-Roum.
• The zone covers approximately 4,900 feddans along the Alexandria–Matrouh coastal road in Matrouh governorate.
• The area is designated for residential, tourist, commercial, administrative, and service activities.
