Mourinho: COVID pandemic prevented a bond with Tottenham, Real Madrid rumors preceded any contact

Jose Mourinho told Corriere dello Sport that COVID isolation prevented a Tottenham bond, and that Real Madrid rumors preceded any contact.

• Mourinho said his Tottenham spell coincided with the pandemic, leaving "zero human connection" and a mostly empty stadium.
• Mourinho said rumors linking him to Real Madrid spread before any official contact, and he "never believed" the move was real.
• Mourinho said Ancelotti asked permission to attend during Endrick's injury, and joked, "You're crazy, Carlo."
• Mourinho joked he has had enough of Ancelotti, seeing his photos daily in the club corridors.
