Egypt ministries approve tuition discounts and scholarships for occupational safety programs

Egypt's higher education and labour ministries have approved financial facilities, tuition discounts, and scholarships for students in two occupational safety and health programs.

• The ministries announced tuition for the professional diploma and master's programs can be paid in three installments, with rates set for each program.
• Discounts range from 10% to 25% for state employees, union and professional organization members, occupational safety workers, and students with disabilities.
• Applicants with final grades of "excellent" or "very good" receive 50% discounts, and published researchers get 20% off tuition.
• Top three diploma graduates advancing to the master's receive full or partial scholarships, and children of martyrs get free places covering 5% of students per program.
