Egypt and Gambia discuss technical education cooperation and teacher training

Egyptian Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif met Gambia's Supreme Islamic Council head to discuss cooperation on technical education and teacher training.

• Abdel Latif received Sheikh Issa Fodi Dabo, head of Gambia's Supreme Islamic Council, and his delegation to discuss technical education cooperation.
• Abdel Latif said the ministry is ready to provide technical support and transfer Egyptian expertise to develop general and technical education in Gambia.
• The meeting discussed developing basic and vocational education in Gambia's Arab schools, curriculum and teaching methods, teacher training, and a proposed Arabic-language teaching center.
