UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin has attacked FIFA counterpart Gianni Infantino at the European Football Clubs assembly in Copenhagen, saying "the emperor is naked."
- Ceferin condemned Infantino's shelved FIFA Forward Enterprise plan to sell up to 20% of a commercial subsidiary to private investors.
- Ceferin said "it is time to say 'enough'", accusing unnamed FIFA decision-makers of bending rules and treating football's future as "just another bargaining chip."
- FIFA accused UEFA of waging a "misinformation campaign" and trying to influence the race for its presidency.
- EFC chair Nasser al-Khelaifi ruled himself out of the FIFA presidency and proposed creating "World Football Clubs", a representative body including clubs beyond Europe.
- Ceferin said football belongs to guardians, not owners, and that money should not decide what is sacrificed.
- Ceferin added that UEFA, CONCACAF and the Asian Football Confederation have pressed for Infantino's removal.
