Egypt's automatic fuel pricing committee is expected to meet in October to decide on gasoline and diesel prices.
- The fuel pricing committee is expected to meet during the first week of October to review fuel prices, an official said.
- Hassan Nasr, head of the Petroleum Materials Division, said a rise is expected and, if approved, would range between 10% and 15%.
- Nasr said world oil prices have risen about 50%, making a fuel price increase a matter of time.
- The last fuel price increase was announced in March, after Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said the committee would resume work this fiscal year.
