A coroner has ruled that three sisters who drowned in the sea off Brighton in May died by suicide.
- An inquest at Woodvale coroner's court found Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, died by suicide after entering the sea in darkness.
- Drowning was recorded as the cause of death for all three women, with no evidence of drugs, alcohol, or violence.
- Coroner Penelope Schofield said the women could not swim and faced adverse sea conditions, adding that the reasons for their decision may never be known.
- Two days before their deaths, the sisters visited Birmingham near the lake where their mother had drowned in 2010.
