Agent reveals Zamalek signed Mahmoud Mamdouh but never completed the deal

Sayed Mar'i, agent of Modern Sport striker Mahmoud Mamdouh, has revealed that Zamalek obtained the player's signature a year ago but never completed the transfer.

• Mar'i said Zamalek secured Mamdouh's signature last year but did not finalise talks with his former club Harras El-Hodoud.
• Mar'i said the deal collapsed for reasons linked to Zamalek, with no financial agreements reached.
• Mar'i said no negotiations are ongoing with Al Ahly or Pyramids ahead of the January window.
• Mamdouh leads the Egyptian Premier League scoring chart with eight goals in seven matches.
