Zamalek denies player dues crisis as training resumes Tuesday

Zamalek has denied reports of a player revolt over unpaid dues, saying training resumes Tuesday and overdue payments will be settled this week.

• Zamalek media director Maher Ghareeb said there is no crisis and players return to training Tuesday after a rest following their win over Ghazl El Mahalla.
• Ghareeb said the club will pay outstanding dues by the end of this week at the latest, under the installment plan agreed at the season's start.
• A club source told Yalla Kora the $3 million first installment of Juan Bezerra's $5 million transfer to Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai arrives Tuesday and will fund the payments.
• Zamalek confirmed Bezerra's departure Saturday after one season, and denied that players refused training over the late dues.
