Gaza's Health Ministry has warned that hospital generators could stop suddenly as operating oils are fully depleted and Israel blocks their entry.
- The ministry warned Thursday that a sudden forced stoppage of hospital generators is possible because operating oils have completely run out.
- It said generators run for thousands of continuous hours without oil or maintenance have reached the "last mechanical danger point."
- The ministry said burned-out generator engines could not be restarted even if oil later arrived, and urged urgent intervention to secure oil and spare parts.
- The ministry said it needs more than 2,500 liters monthly, after 70 percent of hospital generators went out of service in September.
