Canadian national team defender Alistair Johnston has accused Frontier Airlines of losing his luggage and sending him to the wrong city following the 2026 World Cup.
- Johnston wrote on X that he learned "never travel with Frontier" and that he still does not know where his bags are or how he ended up in the wrong city.
- Passenger Danny Fam, who was on the same flight, said the 2.5-hour trip turned into an 8‑9 hour ordeal after a 14‑hour delay and that he saw Johnston's bag at Raleigh‑Durham International Airport.
- Johnston started all five of Canada's matches at the 2026 World Cup, which ended with a round‑of‑16 loss to Morocco.
