Al Hilal defender Ali Lajami nears comeback ahead of Al-Ittihad clash

Al Hilal defender Ali Lajami is close to rejoining group training after completing much of his rehabilitation, ahead of the club's league match with Al-Ittihad.

• Lajami has finished much of his rehabilitation program after an injury and is close to returning to Al Hilal's group training.
• The defender was injured in September during Al Hilal's 3-0 win over Al-Ahli in the third league round.
• Al Hilal announced at the time that Lajami required at least three weeks of treatment before beginning rehabilitation.
• Al Hilal, top of the Saudi league with 18 points, face second-placed Al-Ittihad (17 points) on Saturday in round eight.
