Russia has struck a second major bridge in Kyiv within days as it widens its assault on Ukrainian infrastructure and Kyiv presses strikes on Russian oil facilities.
- Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said a Russian strike hit the North Bridge on Saturday, damaging its road surface and closing it to traffic.
- The Southern Bridge came under drone attacks Thursday and Friday, prompting Kyiv's defence council to hold a crisis meeting on Friday.
- Ukraine's military said it struck a refinery owned by Lukoil in Volgograd and an oil facility in the Samara region.
- President Volodymyr Zelensky announced Ukraine used its domestically produced FP-7 tactical ballistic missile in combat for the first time.
- The strike also damaged the bridge's cables, and Kyiv restricted traffic on other key bridges, worsening transport congestion.
- Russia's Foreign Ministry warned foreign nationals and diplomatic staff to leave Ukraine, saying it will continue targeted strikes on Kyiv and other cities.
