Father and son killed in road accident on Egypt's Monufia regional road

A father and his son died on Wednesday when their vehicle, stopped after a tire blowout, was struck from behind on the regional road near Al-Bajour in Monufia Governorate.

• The victims, Ashraf Mohamed Abdullah al-Zamly and his son Youssef, were traveling from Sharqia to Al-Khatatba for a work trip on Wednesday.
• Their vehicle suffered a tire burst near the Saad Atiya exit in Al-Bajour, forcing them to stop on the roadside to change it.
• A car approaching from behind collided with them and their stationary vehicle, killing both instantly.
• The bodies were transported to Al-Bajour Hospital and later released to their hometown of Mit Bishar for burial after afternoon prayers.
