(opens the publisher’s site)The Interior Ministry's cybercrime unit has arrested three suspects accused of running a social media page to sell Bluetooth earpieces used for exam cheating in Sohag.
- The General Administration for Combating Technical Information Crimes, in coordination with the Public Security Sector, arrested three individuals in Sohag.
- The suspects were running a social media page to promote and sell cheating earpieces for a fee.
- Police seized 6 earpiece cards, 4 earpieces, 23 earpiece card stones, spare parts, and 2 SIM cards from the suspects.
- The suspects confessed to the crime and said they purchased the items from an electronics office owner in Giza who is already detained for a related case.
