Ella Langley's 'Choosin' Texas' Becomes Longest-Running No. 1 in Billboard Hot 100 History

Ella Langley's 'Choosin' Texas' has spent 23 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record for the longest-running No. 1 in the chart's history.

• The track, released last October as the lead single from Langley's album "Dandelion," first topped the Billboard chart in February.
• Langley told Billboard the success was "surreal" and credited fans with driving the song's run.
• "Choosin' Texas" also reached No. 1 on the UK singles chart in September, replacing Sam Fender and Olivia Dean's "Rein Me In."
• Langley swept all seven categories at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May, including single and song of the year.
