French data and AI firm AVISIA has named Barcelona's Lamine Yamal the leading candidate for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, assigning him a 23% win probability.
- Yamal leads AVISIA's rankings at 23%, ahead of Harry Kane (21%) and Kylian Mbappé (19%).
- Rodri and Lionel Messi complete the top five at 19% and 18% respectively.
- AVISIA said its model predicted the 2025 top five, won by Ousmane Dembélé, and claims 75% accuracy for the 2026 World Cup.
- The award ceremony takes place on Monday 26 October at London's Palladium, the 70th edition since 1956.
