Steel and cement prices fell in Egyptian markets on Thursday 8 October 2026, according to data from the Cabinet's local and global price portal.
- The investment steel tonne fell to 37,727.14 Egyptian pounds, down 309 pounds, according to the Cabinet price portal.
- Ezz Steel's tonne dropped 454.87 pounds to 39,437.53 pounds, the portal data showed.
- Gray cement fell 38.01 pounds per tonne to 4,081.73 pounds on Thursday.
- A day earlier, gray cement had risen 38.16 pounds to 4,119.74 pounds per tonne.
