The PLO's Jerusalem Affairs Department has condemned Israeli demolitions of Palestinian homes and structures in northern occupied East Jerusalem.
- Israeli authorities demolished two homes in the al-Ashqariyya neighborhood of Beit Hanina and continued distributing demolition notices in the al-Matar neighborhood, north of Jerusalem.
- Authorities demolished eight structures and bulldozed land in the town of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem.
- The department condemned the demolition escalation, saying it targets long-standing residential and commercial buildings to shrink Palestinian space and force displacement.
- The department called on the international community to take practical steps to halt unilateral measures that alter the status of occupied land.
