Gallant accuses Israeli intelligence of misreading Sinwar's pre-October 7 warning message

Gallant said Israeli intelligence failed to interpret a Hamas message warning of an imminent "earthquake" in the prisoner file before October 7, 2023.

• Former Fatah official Sufyan Abu Zayda said he met Sinwar in Gaza on September 14, 2023, and received a handwritten message warning of an imminent "quake."
• Gallant accused Netanyahu of keeping senior security officials out of sensitive talks with US officials during the Gaza war.
