Egypt reviews executive plan for State Ownership Policy Document 2026–2030

Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Hussein Issa has convened a meeting to review the executive plan for the State Ownership Policy Document's second edition (2026–2030).

• Hussein Issa chaired the Tuesday meeting, attended by Planning Minister Ahmed Rostom and other officials, ahead of issuing the plan's final version.
• Issa stated the document reflects state direction to empower the private sector as a key economic partner and boost the investment climate.
• Osama El-Gohary said the second edition was opened for public dialogue after its launch in June.
• Hashim El-Sayed said the plan comprises 31 main programs spanning about 100 executive measures with timelines, outputs, and performance indicators.
