Russian forces strike suspension bridge in Zaporizhzhia, Defense Ministry says

Russia's Defense Ministry announced a joint airstrike on a cable-stayed bridge in Zaporizhzhia, saying it caused serious damage and suspended traffic.

• Drone teams of the Varyag brigade and Russian Aerospace Forces crews carried out the strike.
• The ministry said Ukrainian forces used the bridge heavily to transport military cargo and personnel.
• The bridge links the left bank of the Dnipro River to Khortytsia Island in Zaporizhzhia.
• Traffic across the bridge has been suspended following the airstrike, the ministry said.
