Man pleads guilty to sexually assaulting woman drugged by her husband

A man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman whose husband drugged her and invited other men to abuse her.

• Sean Peers, 38, admitted one count of assault by penetration on 15 September 2024 at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court.
• The husband, who cannot be named to protect his wife's anonymity, pleaded guilty to two further counts of rape and sexual assault.
• Keith Fotheringham, 59, from Dundee, also pleaded guilty to a number of offences.
• Eleven men deny offences including rape and attempted rape, with the trial set to open on 19 October.
