Zelensky says he will meet Putin at the Miami G20 if Washington invites Russia

Zelensky has said he is ready to meet Putin at the Miami G20 summit in December if Washington invites the Russian leader.

• In an interview with German broadcaster DW, Zelensky said a ceasefire in the energy and grain sectors could form the first step toward negotiations.
• Zelensky described last week's visit to Kyiv by US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner as a "good sign."
• The United States announced in April it intends to invite Putin to the December G20 summit at a Trump-owned Miami golf resort.
• A Russian diplomat said Moscow will send officials from its energy, foreign, and natural resources ministries to the G20 energy ministers' meeting in Houston next week.
