Sisi attends Modi-hosted working dinner on sidelines of 18th BRICS summit

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi attended a working dinner hosted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi during the 18th BRICS summit.

• Sisi attended the dinner in New Delhi, hosted by Modi to welcome heads of state and government of BRICS members and partner countries on the summit's sidelines.
• Presidency spokesman Mohamed El-Shenawy said the dinner drew wide attendance from leaders, heads of delegations, and representatives of international and regional organizations.
• El-Shenawy said talks covered enhancing partnership and cooperation between BRICS and partner countries on political consultation, international crisis mechanisms, and economic and developmental matters.
• Discussions addressed challenges facing Global South countries and emerging and developing economies, and ways to support development paths.
